Make your own beautiful felt Woodland Deer Decoration with detailed stitching, bead eyes and wired, moveable antlers!
This is an intermediate level project. It involves some fiddly and intricate stitching but includes detailed instructions with full colour photos and stitch guides. It is suitable for anyone who is familiar with basic hand-sewing (or a beginner who wants a challenge!).
The deer is decorated one side and features bendable antlers (with hidden wire), appliqued fabric sections and embroidery details. It comes with a gold ribbon at the top so you can hang your deer and display it with pride. The finished head of the deer (from the tips of the antlers to the bottom of the neck) measures 12cm (4.5”) and the antlers are 10cm wide (4”) with an 8cm (3”) ribbon.
All of the fabric, thread and instructions you need to make the decoration is included in the kit from paper templates to the stuffing, you just need access to a needle, pins and scissors.
The kit comes in a kraft card A5 box, wrapped in red tissue paper with a ‘Merry Christmas’ message inside the lid.
